Paris Hilton tops Most Overexposed Celebrity

Paris Hilton has topped a new list of the Most Overexposed Celebrity in America.

According to a survey by Los Angeles-based E-Poll Market Research, the hotel heiress has beaten Britney Spears and party girl Lindsay Lohan to the top of the list.

The survey, reported by Forbes magazine, noticed that the media exposure keeps such stars among the ranks of top celebrities even when their movie, TV, or recording work is unnoticeable.

Forbes has given the example of Pamela Anderson, who has landed the fourth spot in the list.

“Without the acting career she hoped would take off. It’s her tabloid presence care of multiple marriages (and divorces) and provocative ways that continues to open doors for her celebrity,” Contactmusic quoted Forbes, as stating.

Jolie and Pitt wedding never happened!!!

Jolie and Pitt wedding never happened!!!

Bet Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s publicists wish they got a pay rise every time the rumor of the star couple’s marriage did the rounds.

Hollywood’s hottest couple married again this weekend — not. But this time their publicist deferred the knockdown of rumors of a wedding in a New Orleans wedding chapel to the chapel’s clergyman.

“Brad and Angelina did not get married by us,” the Rev. Tony Talavera, owner of the French Quarter Wedding chapel, told magazine Life & Style Weekly a day after the rumored Saturday wedding.

Talavera said he normally did not reveal who he did or did not marry at his wedding center just 14 blocks from the Jolie-Pitt home but he went public this time after Pitt’s people called him and asked him to “quash any misinformation that’s out there.”

“I have not met them personally,” said Talavera. ”This just got out of control. Their publicist asked me to give out a statement.”

But Talavera said he’d be happy to do the job for Pitt and Jolie if they ever do finally decide to rid themselves of the rumors and take the plunge.

“We extend the invitation. We’re glad they are neighbors,” he said.

Ash turns down Will Smith for Abhi

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has declined to co-star with Hollywood wonder-boy again.

This is the third time she has said no to the besotted Will Smith who in a BBC interview had raved about Rai-Bachchan, "She has this powerful energy where she doesn't have to say anything, do anything, she can just stand there. Anything she's making I'll be there."

Two years ago Will offered Aishwarya the comedy Hitch (later remade into Hindi with Salman Khan as Partner). She couldn't do the film due to time constraints.

In quick succession, Aishwarya has turned down two Will Smith projects.

"That's true," she laughs. "I had to say no to Will for Tonight He Comes (Smith's super-hero flick re-named John Hancock).I feel awful about it. But I've my priorities very straight. Yes, family always comes first."

Contrary to reports Aishwarya didn't decline another Will Smith project The Seven Pounds to celebrate Karwa Chauth with her husband Abhishek in Mumbai.

"That's what they wrote in the US press …that I preferred to return to Mumbai to STARVE myself for a religious occasion than to meet Will for the film. That's completely incorrect.

The script reading for The Seven Pounds was just after Diwali when Dadimaa's (Mrs Teji Bachchan)'s health dipped drastically. So I didn't make that trip out to LA for the reading with Will. Is that wrong? Not to me. I'd any day put family over career."

So are Ash and Will star crossed? "When it has to happen it will happen. We'd love to work together. There's something very charismatic about that actor. He gives off very nice vibes. He's very adventurous as an actor.

He does I Am Legend and Pursuit Of Happiness at the same time. He's an actor, rapper, and a great family man. He likes to be adventurous. I like that."

My Worst April Fool's Prank

Sophie Chowdhary: "The worst one I pulled was back in college exactly at 12.01 am. I was chatting with a guy I had just started seeing. For no reason at all I picked a fight with him and decided to break up.

He couldn't believe it. Everything between us was so perfect he just couldn't understand what had happened. He kept calling and I didn't take his calls. The kahani mein twist is that he didn't take my calls.

He had figured out my prank and decided to make me pay for it.I was so miserable thinking he had taken it all so seriously. At the end of the day we decided to call it quits and had a hearty laugh. I guess I had met my match."

Amole Gupte: "On 1 April 2006 I was chosen by Aamir Khan to begin work on Taare Zameen Par. Good joke, that one! And I don't remember pulling a joke as cruel as this on anyone, Fool's day or no fool's day.

Anupam Kher: "My cover for Cine Blitz when I posed for the femme fatale Prabha Devi. That was historic. No one knew it was me. And Prabha Devi was flooded with proposals."

Niharika Singh: "The worst April Fool's prank that I played was on one of my closest friends Tanya. I told her I was diagnosed with a terminal illness. She cried and was very upset not realizing it was April Fool's day.

Next day when I told her the truth she was even more upset. No one has ever pulled a prank like that on me.I'm too smart to fall for it.

Ranvir Shorey: "The joke is normally on me since I never know when 1 April comes along. Friends uthao full fayda of my calendar blindness.

Neil Nitin Mukesh: "The worst April Fool's joke I pulled was on my cousin Naman. He was waiting anxiously for his exam results. I told him he had fared poorly. Poor guy bought it. I had to quickly tell him it was a joke.

The joke was on me when I was looking for work and one of my cousins called up pretending to be Karan Johar. When I landed up at the address given my cousin opened the door grinning. If looks could kill…

Kushal Punjabi: "No one has gotten away with an April Fool's joke on me. I'm too sharp and my antennae is always up on 1 April.

I played a prank on my girlfriend when I told her I was leaving for the States, took some suitcases bid her a tearful goodbye at the airport. When I showed up at her door she was livid rather than relieved to have me back. These girls, I tell you.

Sonu Sood: "Once my cousin called me for her wedding in Punjab. I was surprised. And thrilled. They told me it was arranged all of a sudden and that I was required over the weekend.

I quickly booked my tickets left my work and got there…only to be told the family had fooled me into coming since they were missing me.

My biggest prank was on an AD when I hid my clothes and pretended to get angry at him when he couldn't find them. While the man looked frantically for my clothes I stood right in front of him wearing the 'lost' shirt. The entire unit was in splits, but the AD wasn't amused.

Rensil d'Silva: "Once I told some media trainees they had to provide their stool and urine samples in the morning to the ad agency's resident doctor. All of them dutifully marched to the doc's door and handed over their invaluable packets to the man's wife.

Anuraag Sinha: "When I was a child my parents pulled an April Fool's prank on me by saying they were sending me to boarding school.

They later told me it was only to discipline me. However the gag turned true when some time later they did pack me off the Scindia School in Gwalior.

Since the school is situated at a historical fort we would tell our juniors ghost stories and appear out of bushes covered in white sheets to scare them on April Fool's Day. After a while the prank stopped working.Such is life.

Amrita Arora: "I haven't pulled any prank. But I got one pulled on me once.. My friend from school told me she had run away and gotten married and that I had to inform her parents. Later it turned out to be just a hoax.

Ananth Mahadevan: "The best or worst April Fool's prank I pulled was by phoning a customs official imitating Mr Bachchan's voice from KBC and telling him his friend was on the hot seat.

The friend, I told the officer, had already won 10 lakhs and wanted to know an answer. He hounded her after that wanting to know why she hadn't told him she was going on KBC. No one has yet pulled a grand prank like this on me yet. Maybe I'll get lucky this year.

Dino Morea: "The best prank would be telling my folks I got married a couple of years ago…The worst prank pulled on me was in school and dying to be a school captain.

Friends came running on 1 April to say the principal was looking for me to give me the good news. I ran into the principal's office only to be told, 'What can I do for you, son?' That's when I got it.

Amisha in SRK's Billoo Barber

Amisha Patel seems to have burried the hatchet with director Priyadarshan over her Bhool Bhulaiya fiasco and now working in his next, Billoo Barber, which will indeed be produced by Shah Rukh Khan.

The film is a comedy about two childhood friends – a barber and a rich filmstar. While SRK plays the superstar, Irrfan Khan is playing the his barber friend who comes to meet him after many years.

The film is apparently inspired from the Krishna-Sudama episode and reported to be a remake of Malayalam film Katha Parayumbol.

Though Amisha plays the barber’s wife in the movie, she will also have some scenes with SRK. This would be the second time Amisha would share the screen space with King Khan after her miniscule cameo with him in Om Shanti Om .

Katrina makes it five in a row!

Katrina Kaif is one actress in Bollywood who is cashing in as sun shines on her!

Sush's lewd SMS trouble over

Sushmita Sen can finally have a sigh of relief. A youth, who allegedly sent obscene SMS to Bollywood actress Sushmita Sen, was brought here today from New Delhi by Khar Police.

Amber Bipinchand, a B com graduate doing share broking business in New Delhi, was arrested yesterday by Khar Police with the help of Delhi Police from Tilak Nagar area of Delhi, police said.

He will be produced in the Bandra Metropolitan Magistrate court in later part of the day, police added.

SRK and Kareena are the best

Film and Television Producers' Guild of India (FTPGI) honoured veteran Bollywood filmmaker Yash Chopra with its top award for 'outstanding contribution to Indian Cinema'.

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan received the best actor award for his performance in the Yash Raj Films' super hit film 'Chak De! India'.

Kareena Kapoor walked away with the best actress trophy for her comic portrayal of a young Sikh girl in 'Jab We Met' at a glittering presentation ceremony at the MMRDA Ground in the Bandra-Kurla Complex in northwest Mumbai Sunday.

FTPGI hosts its own award ceremony to honour Indian artistes as well as creative and technical personalities from the film industry every year.

The trophies are known as 'Apsara' awards.

While 'Chak De! India' was chosen the best movie of 2007, its director Shimit Amin bagged the trophy for the best director.

A Pakistani television channel, ARY Gold, also honoured actor Hrithik Roshan as the Best Male Style Icon of the year at the ceremony.

The star, however, could not make it to the ceremony. His father, filmmaker Rakesh Roshan, received the trophy on his behalf. Katrina Kaif bagged the Best Female Style Icon ARY Gold trophy.

Akshay Kumar, who churned out the maximum number of hits last year, was adjudged the 'Entertainer of the Year' by the FTPGI jury.

Yes I was linked with Sreesanth: Shonali Nagrani

After hosting a show like Laughter challenge and interviewing various cricketers, Shonali Nagrani is now b seen hosting a multifaceted reality show on Sony, Mr. and Ms. Television.

Here is the pretty lasso sharing her experience on hosting shows…

Q. First of all tell us about your experience hosting Mr. and Ms. Television?
A. It's been an amazing experience till now. I have learnt a lot from this show. As an anchor, it's a whole amount of pressure on you.

Nothing should go wrong from your side. In reality shows, twists and turns keep happening and you have to take the show along with it.

Q. How different is this show from the other reality shows been aired on various channels?
A. Every show has its own charm. As far as Mr. and Ms TV is concerned, this show not only showcases dancing talent of the actors but also every talent of theirs. Every actor who is multi-talented has got an opportunity on this platform.

Q. Will we be seeing you hosting the next season of Laughter Challenge?
A. Chances are very minute but there are some other things which are in the pipeline. I will tell everyone when the right time comes.

Q. And what about cricket. When would we see you back in action interviewing cricket stars?
A. I simply love hosting cricket. I think I had best time during World Cup. It was a very wonderful experience. Now that the IPL format has come, I am looking forward to getting involved in it. Besides IPL, there are many big things which are on my mind at the moment.

Q. What do you have to say about the new IPL format been introduced by BCCI?
A. Right now, I really don't want to comment on this. I would rather wait for a month and see how it takes off. I feel it's a great experiment. BCCI is always been very flexible for new changes. Though lots of old school cricketers are upset about it, but as far as I am concerned I am very happy with this new format.

Q. Why haven't we seen you in daily soaps?
A. Because I can't work endlessly like these actors. I am a very free-spirited person who likes to take off whenever I want to. And that life is more important to me than being a household name.

Q. You were been linked with Sreesanth in the past. How do you handle these kind of rumors?
A. Honestly I found it very funny. For me it was the first incident where I was put under a lot of pressure by media. From that incident I learnt one thing that even if you are talking to a famous person make sure that there are no cameras around or no people around.

Q. Where do you see yourself five years from now?
A. I am like the rolling stone which gathers no moss. I do not like to be static, so five years from now I would like to see myself out of the country. I have a feeling that I will keep going and coming back.

Q. Are you happy with your career graph?
A. Right now I am very happy. It's been two and half years now, and considering the kind of work I have done, I am more than satisfied. This is what I always wanted.

Q. Any other projects you are working on?
A. There is one show for Sahara Filmy called Filmy Cocktail which I am doing right now. And then there is one hosting show which I am going to do in future. I am strictly forbidden to talk about that, so I can't really divulge.
